Finding the “perfect” home for you

There is no finite number of homes you should look at before you decide to make an offer on one. That's why providing your agent with as many details as possible up front will help your agent hone in on finding your dream home.

One of the first things you should do is to think about what exactly you're looking for in a home. You can start by prioritizing the following:

Location: "Location! Location! Location!"
Probably the most important factor in deciding on your new home purchase. Are you relocating to a new town because of a new job, or to be closer to your current job? How will the location of schools, shops, and transportation

affect your choice of neighborhoods?
Budget: How much are you qualified to own doesn't always equal how much you would like to spend on a mortgage payment. Decide how much of a monthly payment you are comfortable with.
Personal preferences: How large of a home do you want or need? Think about the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. What style home do you prefer? What type of yardspace are you looking for?
